Deaf Day 2027

Save the date – Deaf Day is returning to City Lit on 10th April 2027!

Each year, Deaf Day transforms our Keeley Street campus, with classrooms turned into exhibition spaces, workshops, and taster sessions. Visitors can browse stalls, attend talks, and connect with others.

Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals get the chance to socialise, share experiences, and access information, while hearing people who work with Deaf communities, are learning British Sign Language, have Deaf friends or family, or simply want to learn more are just as warmly welcomed.

ALAS will have a stall for the day, showcasing lipspeaking and answering all of your questions.

Whether you’ve joined us before or will be attending for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you back to City Lit for another fantastic event.
