We had an incredible time at Deaf Day 2024.

Based in the John Lyon’s Theatre, we were discussing everything lipspeaking!

Deaf Day is a free annual one-day event to celebrate Deaf culture, welcoming visitors from all corners of the UK.  It is an opportunity for Deaf and hard of hearing people to get together, socialise and celebrate Deaf provision and the Deaf community – increasing our social impact and strengthening the community.

ALAS had a stall for the full day, which was manned by a number of ALAS members. Thank you to all the team, including Linzi, Laura, Kirsty and Lesley.
