We’re delighted to announce that Jacqui Chamoun has taken over as the new ALAS Student Representative! 🎓👋

Jacqui is currently studying to become a Lipspeaker on a Signature-approved course and will be joining the ALAS Committee to represent the student voice and help ensure that the experiences and views of student Lipspeakers continue to be heard.

A huge congratulations to Lianne Roberts, who has successfully completed her assessment and is now a Level 3 qualified Lipspeaker! 🎉👏

Lianne has done a fantastic job as our Student Representative and we’re delighted that she will continue supporting the ALAS Committee as she takes this next step in her professional journey.

We look forward to formally welcoming Lianne into the wider ALAS Committee at our 2027 AGM, subject to the appropriate vote.

We’d also like to wish Jacqui every success in her new role. We’re excited to have her join us and look forward to hearing the student perspective she brings to the committee. 💬🤟
