Are you currently training to become a Lipspeaker on a Signature-approved course? This is your opportunity to have your voice heard and help shape the future of ALAS.

We are delighted to announce that our current Student Representative, Lianne, has successfully passed her assessment and is now a qualified Lipspeaker. We’d like to thank Lianne for her valuable contributions to the committee during her training and wish her every success in her professional career.

As a result, we now have a vacancy for a new Student Representative to join the ALAS Committee.

The Student Representative plays an important role in ensuring the views and experiences of student Lipspeakers are represented within the Association. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Represent the interests of student Lipspeakers.
• Contribute to committee meetings and discussions.
• Help shape the future direction of ALAS.
• Gain valuable committee experience and build professional connections within the Lipspeaking community.

You don’t need previous committee experience—just enthusiasm, a willingness to contribute, and to be currently enrolled on a Signature-approved Lipspeaker course.
