DESCRIPTION:With around 330\,475 Deafblind people in the UK\, we need to spread awareness and improve communication and access for all. \nYou will be in great hands with our very experienced teachers Sarah Reed and Penny Gunn teaching you a basic-level knowledge and understanding about Deafblind awareness\, and what it means to be deafblind and what can be done to improve access in society for this group of people. \nThis qualification introduces the learner to a basic level knowledge and understanding about Deafblind awareness\, and what it means to Deafblind. \nThe Level 1 Award in Deafblind Awareness is suitable for anyone and especially those who: \n\nwish to acquire a basic understanding and awareness of Deafblind Issues and Deafblind people;\nneed to acquire the knowledge as part of a programme of study or professional development;\nare studying for personal development with a view to future employment.e Deafblind and what can be done to improve access in society for this group of people.
